History
3rd fleet as had a long and outstanding history with the Alliance Navy. Upon returning from the battle of Endor, Admiral Reshmar lead a daring attack on an enemy shipyard to capture parts to repair old and damaged ships to make up the first ships of the 3rd fleet. Now as a new leader takes command none of the original ships remain in serve with the 3rd fleet. Newer and better ships and crews now make up the fleet and serve with bravery and dedication in honor of the first vessels and crews of the 3rd fleet.
Task Forces
The fleet is divided into four Task Forces, each established to fill one of a variety of roles.
- Task Force 30 - Command and Control Group
- Task Focre 31 - Patrol/Defense Group
- Task Force 32 - Patrol/Defense Group
- Task Force 33 - Patrol/Defense Group
Battle Honors
4.344 Desperate Assault (The Attack On Bestine) Needing ship parts for the battered survivors of Endor, Reshmar takes command of the Independance and makes a desperate assalt on a minor Imperial ship yard.
5.226 Flame Of Rebellion (Lianna Assault) Reshmar and the Independence Make an assault on an Imperial testing ground to stop the production of a new imperial fighter design.
6.250 Warzone Sarapin Reshmar fights a pitched battle over the besieged planet distracting imperial forces long enough for a last minute special operation then evacuation.
