Name
Alliance Space
Details
Sectors, Regions, and Territories ceded to the Alliance under the Alliance-Imperial Treaty

As per the Alliance-Imperial Treaty, Alliance Space is a geo-political region that consists of all sectors defined as being loyal to and under the protection of the Alliance of Free Planets. It is considered sovereign territory, and the Galactic Empire is prohibited from any military actions within those sectors, and has ceded all territorial claims to worlds, facilities, and other astrographical bodies therein. In some locations, Alliance sectors border directly with Imperial Space, while in others a "neutral zone" of one or more sectors was created

A separate territorial compromise with the Hutt Cartel required the Alliance to release their claim to certain sectors that had historically been considered part of Hutt Space prior to the rise of the Galactic Empire; many of those sectors have subsequently been annexed by the Hutt Cartel, while others remain politically neutral.

Alliance Space currently consists of (??) sectors, located mostly within the Mid Rim and the Outer Rim Territories.

Neutral Space

"Inner Zone"

Consisting of the Inner Cluster, Stenness Node, and Airon Sector, creating a buffer between Alliance Space and the Colonies. This includes the worlds of Zeltros, Cona, Fadden, Manaan, and Antar, all of whom might otherwise be sympathetic to the Alliance of Free Planets and wish to petition for membership. Referred to as the "Inner Zone" (due to it's location in the Inner Rim), or more formally as the "Stenness Neutral Zone".

"Outer Zone"

Consisting of the Kalamith, Thesme, and Thrasybule Sectors, creating a buffer between Imperial Space and the vulnerable mining worlds and agriworlds of the Gordian Reach. Referred to as the "Outer Zone" (due to it's location in the Outer Rim) to distinguish from other neutral zones; or more formally as the "Gordian Neutral Zone".

"Hutt Zone"

A series of fourteen sectors, between the Calaron Sector and the Abrion Sector, which run around the inner edge of Hutt Space, separating it from the Alliance. Many of these worlds historically fell under the influence of the Hutt Cartel, and many of the Hutt Clans still have influence and holdings there: a territorial compromise was reached between the Alliance and the Hutts that neither party would attempt to annex any of the worlds within that region, though both are permitted to patrol the region and escort convoys. The Bothan Run, one of the Alliance's main trade routes, runs through the Lannik Sector and the Lannik Wilds - both part of the "Hutt Zone" (referred to by the Hutts as the "Borderlands") - making convoys travelling that route particularly vulnerable to piracy.

"Corporate Zone"

Consisting of the sectors immediately surrounding the Corporate Sector, shielding the corporations and former Imperial assets there from being annexed by the Alliance of Free Planets. Includes the Farana, [Trianii Sector|Trianii]], Aparo, Wyl, Chorlian, Mortex, Bosph, Xappyh, and Tynquay Sectors, and the Sith Worlds. Referred to as the "Corporate Zone" or "Corporate Neutral Zone".

"The Spice Rim"

A series of fifteen sectors, located at the end of the Corellian Run and along the Llanic Spice Run, who after centuries of Hutt and Imperial rule have no interest in answering to a central government. It is unofficially referred to as "The Spice Rim", due to the abundance of spice-based illegal activity in the Spice Triangle and surrounding sectors.
