The Duchess's family had manufactures on Tegrat for technological parts and computer software, which helped sustain the family while the rest of their money went to support the fight against the rebellion.

Tatiana exhibited a strong interest in politics from a young age, and studied it early thanks to a specific curriculum at her high school. After two years at Coruscant University to study political sciences, the civil war made her eager to strengthen her commitment and she enlisted in the Imperial Navy, for she abhorred the rebellion.

Progressing in the hierarchy, she eventually served aboard one of the capital ships involved in the Rebel assault on the second Death Star. She was also involved in keeping her home world aligned with the Empire, making her family proud as well as her superiors.

She eventually became Moff of the Koradin Sector a couple of years after the Battle of Endor, while remaining Duchess of Virgillia 7, her home world being the Sector Capital at this point. Her flagship ship is the Imperial II-class Star Destroyer Durendal, under Admiral Zierask's command.

Tatiana Renkl was recently appointed Moff of both Koradin and Greater Javin Sectors.
