Prince Tristan is the son of Queen Mother Ishara, monarch of Hapes. He is the elder brother of Princess Elaine, of whom he is fiercely protective of, in spite of his timid nature. Though he is older than his sister, he will not succeed her to the throne of Hapes, as Hapan culture views men as inferior to women. He is fearful of his mother and longs for the day when his sister ascends to the throne. In recent times, Tristan has been dispatched as a delegate to Onderon, to further strength the alliance between the Queen Mother and Queen Adraudia Basille of Onderon.
