The Ouishii Kajidic is one of the Hutt Clans. For thousands of years it was relatively obscure and unimportant, but under the leadership of a Hutt calling himself Ambassador Wrath, the Kajidic rose to prominence during the Galactic Civil War, particularly after the Alliance-Imperial Treaty.

The Kajidic's influence within the Hutt Cartel is small but growing, particularly because of lucrative military contracts with the Alliance of Free Planets. They retain polite relations with Black Sun, but have a much more adversarial relationship with The Exchange. It is suspected that the Kajidic is somehow connected with the Sarlacc shadow organisation.

History

Prior to Rath Ouishii Dae's leadership, the Kajidic had only a small business portfolio. Rather than attempting to expand on what the Kajidic already had however, Wrath began targeting "useful" companies that were in receivership, financial difficulties, or were otherwise vulnerable, merging those smaller entities into the Kajidic and combining their strengths. Wrath's first acquisition was Czerka Arms, a weapons manufacturer specialising in exotic weapons; he later acquired the Drever Corporation which had developed anti-droid weapons for the Grand Army of the Republic; and a producer of freighter-scale weapons, the Dymek Corporation, adding them to Czerka Arms' portfolio.

Seeking to diversify, he acquired the LesTech and Rodian D-Tec corporations to break into the droid market, later purchasing Rossum Droidworks - a company that refurbished Clone Wars era battle droids - in an auction after Iaco Stark's death. Wanting the ability to produce new replacement parts for refurbished droids (rather than relying on the diminishing supply of reconditioned parts), he acquired Kalibac Industries, a Geonosian droid manufacturer that had inherited the remaining parts of Baktoid Industries and Baktoid Armor Workshop that had survived the Clone Wars, providing him with access to Baktoid's blueprints and patents.

To expand into other industries, Wrath bought out Uulshos Manufacturing, a repulsorlift manufacturer. For several years it was an area of the business that Wrath sought to expand upon, and the Alliance-Imperial Treaty gave him an opportunity: cut off from their assets in the Outer Rim by Alliance territory, Kuat Drive Yards was eager to sell off certain subsidiaries to free up finances and rebuild their infrastructure closer to the Core. Wrath acquired Rothana Heavy Engineering, the corporation that had equipped the Grand Army of the Republic with walkers and airships; and Ubrikkian Industries, an expansive repulsorlift, droid, and starship manufacturer on the edge of Hutt Space. Wrath consolidated much of the Kajidic's business into Ubrikkian Industries, folding his droid assets into the Ubrikkian Steamworks, and his shipbuilding assets into Ubrikkian Transports.

The main exception to Wrath's consolidation was Rothana Heavy Engineering: instead, the Kajidic structured the company as a military contractor, geared specifically towards fulfilling contracts for the Alliance of Free Planets.
