The Sturdy is a one off prototype MC40B operating within the Alliance Navy. Commanded by Captain Anne Phoenix, She serves as a squadron flagship, and as a regional patrol and response vessel. Like the larger MC80B it was based off of, the Sturdy has her weapons concentrated into banks, with three banks of six Turbolaser Batteries each on the bow, port, and starboard sides, while the Ion Cannons are in four banks of three cannons apiece, on the dorsal and ventral sides fore and aft.
