In it's final incarnation, the group was comprised of the Galaxy's most powerful Darksiders, many of whom had been Sith or Jedi Masters before choosing to follow the path of the Dark Jedi. As is to be expected, with such a large number of powerful and power-hungry individuals in one place, the members of The Black Hand scarcely exhibited any unity with one another. Had the group ever banded together, throwing their collective strength behind a single cause, they would have been unstoppable - however their own individual agendas and egos prevented this from happening. In the end it was these conflicting intentions that drove the group apart, causing the members of The Black Hand split - violently - into two independent and opposing factions. Those who embraced chaos - and were loyal to the goddess [[Vicet]] - followed [[Sorsha Kasajian]] to Ch'hodos, forming the [[Sisters of Chaos]]. Those who desired order followed [[Lilaena De'Ville]] to the [[Onderon]], forming [[Kuklos Ataxia]].

Introduction
The Black Hand (TBH) was a pre-reset roleplaying group of Dark Jedi, who made their home in Bast Castle, Vjun. The faction was founded in 2001 by Darth Rane, Delirion and Jeseth Cloak.
History
The Black Hand had a turbulent existence.

Those who embraced chaos - and were loyal to the goddess Vicet - followed Sorsha Kasajian to Ch'hodos, forming the Sisters of Chaos. Those who desired order followed Lilaena De'Ville to the Onderon, forming Kuklos Ataxia.

Membership
Gaining admittance into the ranks of The Black Hand was not easy. There were few amongst the Hand who had not already undergone tutelage in use of the Force, whether as Sith or Jedi. As the group had no official leadership, functioning instead as a democracy, all members voted on whether or not a potential new member would be allowed to join. Potential recruits were required to show evidence of character training and development, as well as general experience at SW-Fans.Net. In Character, Evil Hobgoblin acted as the 'gatekeeper' to Bast Castle, challenging those who wished to enter with complex riddles.

The following characters were, at one point, members of The Black Hand:

Most all of the members of The Black Hand carried the title 'Lord/Lordess of...', a moniker which reflected their personality.

Forum Structure
The Black Hand was divided into five forums:
  • Tribunal of Insanity - where outsiders could request an audience with members of The Hand.
  • Durance of Nightmares - where members were receive training in the Dark Arts.
  • Candelabra of Malice - where members living quarters were situated.
  • Hall of Sorrows - where members could discuss group matters, in private and out of character.
  • Cauldron of Catastrophe - where members could store a record of their characters life, training and achievements.
Current Status
The Black Hand existed until 2003, when as a result of in-character plotlines the group was broken up into 2 competing Dark Jedi groups - Sisters of Chaos and Kuklos Ataxia.
