A fusion of Cizerack and Imperial technology, the Feessarro Class Star Destroyer is the first dedicated Capital Warship of the Cizerack Trade Navy. Specifically designed to lead combat flotillas beyond the Home Cluster, the Feessarro makes use of the deadly new Saanja hypermatter torpedo weapon in concert with gravity well generators to afford the enemies of the Pride no escape and no quarter.

Design

From the outset, the design of the Feessarro makes it plain that it is a ship of war, contrasting the Korri Galleon and the Ooru Dreadnaught, which traditionally manifest the duality of purpose of fighting and cargo hauling that the Trade Navy usually prefers. The Feessarro's wedge-shaped hull is designed to bring maximum firepower to bear on a target, and the conspicuous domes in its superstructure house gravity well projectors to ensure there is no easy escape for the Feessarro's prey. The conning tower, like most ships of a destroyer designation, sits high aft on the dorsal hull, affording a Huntress Captain a wide vantage of the battlespace around her.

History

The Feessarro Star Destroyer is a new creation, a direct result of increased trade of technology between disaffected Imperial factions and the Pride. The warship marks a distinct break in the Cizerack doctrine of trade enforcement, and is clearly designed to serve openly as a warship, with little secondary concern given to carrying freight for trade purposes. Though only two ships have been built in this class, other keels have been laid at Cana'darri, a reminder that the Cizerack may soon wish to project power beyond their Home Cluster in a more direct fashion. The existing ships of the class have already been assigned to combined battle groups that patrol the Hydian way.
